This is a damn funny comedy, a period piece, set during the heyday of Freud, Jung, and such other pioneers of psychology. The wife of a successful Spanish psychoanalyst must become a detective to find her missing husband. With the help of her brother-in-law, who works at the same hospital as the missing man, they start unravelling the clues hidden it the lost doctor's last thesis. These investigations lead them to the seedier side of the world; with glimpses of drug use, prostitution and homosexuality. And it's all damn funny.
Well acted, beautifully set and shot, and containing both very subtle and very broad comedy (slapstick too!), this is one of three movies that have really made me laugh out loud at this year's Fest. Kudos.
