What great characters! And many of them portrayed by non-professionals. This movie has perhaps the largest stable of quirky oddballs of any quirky oddball movie, but they're all really believable quirks. I work with people like this. The 'just doing our jobs' part of the flick is a very true-to-life view of people doing a job they don't really like, and get no respect for.
Add to that a murder mystery, a brooding loner hero, and a cute girl in a bear costume, mix with a techno soundtrack and some really stark industrial visuals of the platforms and tracks of Hungary's subway system, and you have Waydowntown through a glass, darkly. Groovy.
