Danny Boyle's latest definetly isn't 28 Days Later, and is sure isn't Trainspotting. Millions is a light, really funny (for adults even) kid's movie.

After losing his mom and moving to a new house, Damien finds a gym bag full of Pounds. Damien has a penchant for haiography, which is understandable, since is is frequently visited by saints, so he assumes the money is a gift from God. Damiens loving but mercenary older brother Anthony sees things differently. And, of course, there's the bad bad man who wants is stolen loot back.

In a brillant bit of MacGuffinery, the movie is set mere days before Euro day, when the paper pounds will become worthless, so the boys need to convert, spend or give away more money than they can imagine in less than a week. But, as Damien says at the beginning of the film, the money's not important, money's just a thing. This movie is about family, loss, coping and moving on, finding happiness and sharing it with others.
